Participation in a benchmark does not imply certification, approval or recommendation.
Editorial independence
What commercial relationships cannot decide.
Support, advertising, sponsorship, vendor participation or paid work may exist in the future, but they should never control what VetAI Trust ultimately publishes.
Evidence ratingsCommercial relationships must not determine whether evidence is described as weak, limited, supportive, independent or unresolved.
Benchmark scoresNo vendor can buy a score increase, a friendlier baseline, a hidden exclusion or a softer benchmark interpretation.
Editorial conclusionsVendors may respond and supply evidence, but they do not approve conclusions before publication.
Publication decisionsInclusion, prominence and framing should be based on evidence value, methodological clarity and public relevance.
Useful work can be funded without being captured.
VetAI Trust may later disclose grants, sponsorship support or paid private evaluation work. If such support exists, editorial independence should remain explicit and visible wherever public findings might otherwise appear compromised.
Material conflicts should be named.
This policy applies to Philipp Pusch, contributors, reviewers, sponsors and funders. Relevant funding, access, commercial relationships, advisory roles, vendor cooperation and testing participation should be disclosed where they matter to reader trust.
Status can change when the record changes.
Evidence status may be revised when new peer-reviewed work appears, independent validation emerges, important methodological flaws are identified, vendor evidence changes or VetAI Trust performs its own test.
No false institutional inflation
VetAI Trust is an independent evidence and evaluation initiative. It should not be described as an accredited certification authority unless that later becomes factually true.
"Not independently verified" does not mean "false." VetAI Trust does not accuse vendors of deception without evidence.
