Terms of use

Serious public research, proportional terms.

These terms are intentionally short and reviewable. They set practical guardrails for using the public VetAI Trust site without pretending to be a full enterprise contract or final attorney-reviewed language.

Purpose

Informational and research use

VetAI Trust publishes editorial research, evidence reviews, benchmark notes and methodology information. The site is intended to inform readers about veterinary-AI claims and the evidence behind them.

No care relationship

No veterinary diagnosis or treatment relationship

Use of the public website does not create a veterinarian-client-patient relationship, medical advice relationship or regulatory certification relationship.

Content use

What you may do

  • Read, cite and discuss VetAI Trust content in context.
  • Quote benchmark or evidence findings accurately and with the scope information required by the Data & Benchmark Policy.
  • Link to original pages, update notes and methodology pages rather than clipping away their context.
Misuse

What you may not do

  • Misrepresent a narrow benchmark result as a general product certification or proof of overall accuracy.
  • Remove important scope notes, dates, benchmark versions or caveats when reusing VetAI Trust findings.
  • Use the site in ways that interfere with publication integrity, security or ordinary public access.
Intellectual property

Ownership and attribution

  • VetAI Trust retains rights in its original editorial text, branding, page structure and benchmark framing.
  • Third-party marks, papers and product names remain the property of their respective owners.
  • Primary sources should be cited alongside VetAI Trust commentary where readers need the underlying material.
Links and availability

External references and uptime

  • Third-party links are provided for reader context and evidence tracing, not as endorsements.
  • VetAI Trust does not promise uninterrupted availability or complete coverage of every veterinary-AI product or paper.
  • Evidence status can change as new information appears.

Boundaries

No warranty of completeness or currentness.

VetAI Trust aims for careful sourcing, fair framing and visible corrections. Even so, public pages can be incomplete, become outdated, or require revision as new evidence emerges. Readers remain responsible for their own professional, commercial and legal decisions.

Nothing on this site should be presented as final legal advice, regulatory approval or a substitute for independent veterinary judgment.

Liability

Limitation in proportion

To the extent permitted by applicable law, VetAI Trust is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from reliance on public site content. Mandatory consumer, media, tort or other statutory rights remain unaffected.

Changes

Terms can evolve

These terms may be updated as the site adds new public features, benchmark publication surfaces or operating structures. Material changes should be reflected through updated version metadata.

Related rules

Benchmark usage is governed in context.

Terms stay short by linking to the pages that explain evidence handling, corrections and result-usage discipline in more detail.
